FINAL LOGO: I designed the final approved logo for the show -- this was one of the most challenging logos I’ve worked on. We worked with 3-4 outside vendors who pitched logos as well, & looked at hundreds of logos.
STYLEFRAMES: Original mood boards I created from the winning concept -- black & gold.
LOGO DESIGN PROCESS: A screenshot of my illustrator file to show my work in progress -- you can see the final logo circled in red. This is actually just a small portion of the logos we looked at.
TYPOGRAPHY INSPIRATION: Another mood board I created showing logos from other popular 90s rap/hip hop artists, as well as different graffiti type examples.
ON-AIR PACKAGING: Stills from our final on-air toolkit designed/animated by Mocean LA. I worked with Mocean to shift the ‘black & gold’ concept to a slightly grittier world with tints of green to give it more of a ‘true crime’ feel.
LAUNCH TRAILER: Here's an example of one of the promos using graphics from the toolkit I created.
BILLBOARDS: Examples of some of the OOH -- these were long-lead teaser billboards I made for Universal Studios.
KEY ART: A few examples of our final key art -- top row is subway two-sheets, bottom is a taxi top.
SOCIAL TEMPLATES: We collaborated with our internal social team & their vendor to create more detailed examples of how the show branding could work on social platforms. This is an example spread for Instagram.
PREMIERE PARTY: I worked with Mocean to design performance visuals for multiple screens, as well as a step-and-repeat & other event collateral. More info + photos of the premiere here.
RISK COLLABORATION: I worked with our promotions team to art direct this original artwork created by renown graffiti artist RISK for our premiere event. More photos here.
